110013 - Adult Healthy Cooking Classes

1/10 - Skinny Chicken Pot Pies
A cold-weather classic gets lightened up! Crustless, individual pot pies are filled with chicken, carrots, celery, onions, peas and green beans with a sauce made with organic chicken stock. Top that with a simple whole-wheat drop biscuit made with Greek yogurt and you have the perfect meal. Served with a side romaine salad and homemade creamy garlic dressing.

2/5 - Spaghetti Squash Skinny Alfredo
Alfredo gets a facelift! Hop on the spaghetti squash bandwagon while we roast spaghetti squash and fill with pan-seared chicken topped with a roux-based alfredo sauce and fresh basil. Served with a side romaine salad with a homemade creamy balsamic dressing. This is a savory dish that does not disappoint!

3/5 - Gluten Free Cooking: Mini Meatloaf with Mashed Cauliflower
Comfort food with a twist! We’ll discuss what gluten is, what it does and why many choose or must avoid it in their diets. Together we will prepare mini gluten-free meatloaves made with grass fed beef, brown-rice panko, garlic and spices. Instead of serving with the traditional mashed potatoes, here is where the twist comes in….we will make tangy horseradish mashed cauliflower and serve it with a side of mixed greens and an avocado cream dressing!

4/11 - Naked Bruschetta Turkey Burger with Grilled Zucchini
Don’t worry…it’s not what you think! It’s even better! We will be making a bun-less (aka naked) turkey burger topped with a mound of delicious homemade bruschetta and a side of grilled zucchini surfboards. Pita chips will be served for scooping extra bruschetta. Your taste buds will thank you!
